A small company, on purpose
Snap Load started because we kept hearing the same stories: movers who don't show up, nobody answering the phone, and customers left stressed out. We thought local moving could be done better.
We don't hand your move to day laborers or subcontractors. Our own crew loads the truck and our own crew unloads it. When you have only two trucks, every move has your name on it, and you can't hide behind a corporate office.

How it works
What happens, start to finish
- We talk through your place. Room by room, on the phone. Houses with 3+ bedrooms get a free walkthrough instead, because we'd rather see it than guess.
- You get a straight hourly rate. We won't promise exact hours we can't know. We give you the rate, take the junk fees out, and work fast.
- $200 holds your date. It comes right off your total, and you get one free reschedule if the date moves.
- You tell us the details once. One short form covers your addresses, stairs, parking and inventory, so your crew shows up knowing the job.
- We call 1 to 3 days before. A real person checks in to make sure nothing's changed.
- Move day. We walk through with you, protect the home, wrap everything, load it, move it and set it where you want it.
- You check it before we leave. Look everything over with the crew, then pay the balance when the job's done.

3-hour minimum, then you pay for time worked. No fuel charge and no service fee. Pads, wrap, TV boxes and taking furniture apart are included. If we box things up for you, you cover the materials we bring.

What people ask before they book
How long will my move take?
Honest answer: nobody knows until they're in it, and anyone giving you exact hours over the phone is guessing. How boxed up you are, stairs and the walk to the truck move it the most. Call us and we'll tell you what to expect for your place.
Are there hidden fees?
No fuel charge, no service fee, and no charge for pads, wrap or TV boxes. You pay the hourly rate for time worked, plus the one-time trip fee. Paying by card adds a processing fee. Cash, Zelle and Venmo don't.
What if something gets damaged?
We're careful, and it's why everything gets wrapped. Standard mover's coverage is $0.60 per pound, per item, unless we agree on a higher value in writing before the move. Worth checking whether your homeowner's or renter's insurance covers more. Tell us about anything valuable ahead of time.
Will strangers from a day-labor app show up?
Never. Every move is handled by our own crew, and you'll get the same crew from the first load to the last box.
What should I keep with me?
Cash, jewelry, medications, firearms, important documents and keys travel with you. We also don't move plants, perishables, pets or hazardous materials.
Can you do short notice?
Often, yes, if the schedule has room. Booking early is the only way to guarantee your date, so call and we'll tell you straight.
What if I only need help loading?
We do labor-only too: loading or unloading your rental truck or PODS, clearing out storage, or moving heavy furniture inside your home.
